Default KX brake pedal, what year?

Hi All,
Just purchased my first GasGas yesterday. She's a '00 EC300 that was purchased in '01 as a leftover. I am the third owner. I am in need of a brake pedal and see from the crossover list that the KX works with modification. My question is what year KX and what is the modification? Also Im looking for a parts book and shop manual to download? I didnt see any on the main site that went back that far. Thanks, I look forward to contributing to this forum and Ive already rec'd alot of help from it!

Default brake pedal spring

Might anybody have a pic of where the brake pedal spring hooks onto the frame?
Thanks for the link to gofasters too!

There is a frame reinforcement (gusset) below the swingarm mount.
The gusset is open along the top and the spring drops in the "slot".

I found a pic of a WEC bike showing the spring attachment. You will see it attach right near the swing arm pivot at the gusset like Dave mentioned.

WOW, killer photos. Thanks.....I need that chain guide and the radiator guards. Is the end of that radiator guard threaded to accept the lower shroud mounting bolt?

I ended up rebuilding my stock gasgas pedal. Gofasters sent me the parts to rebuild the mounting point and I welded up the end because it was all rounded out and the tip was held on by the spring so my buddy carefully rebuilt the end with weld and I redrilled a new hole and put a new tip, spring and pin in it and its good as new and for alot less then a new brake pedal.
