Default Fitting map switch to 200?

Hi all, My cdi is in my airbox it has a black and an orange wire that are unplugged. How do people fit a switch to change maps? Also what map is it running with wires out? Steve

Unplugged is the soft map, if your able to solder wires together you can buy a switch and wire it up.
Otherwise I think you can buy a switch from GG which will plug in and work that way.

Plug them together and try it before you wire a switch, the difference may not even be noticable on the 200 depending on the jetting and how you ride it. Even on the 250 its hard to tell.

I believe the dual map cdi was only introduced in 2005/2006
So no, unless you have a newer cdi you will not have a dual map.
Sorry

Correct, only some '05 and later bikes. What you can do is jet it a little different, and retard your static timing a bit.
