45mm zochs setting up
Hi all
went motocross the other day with my gg, had a go on my mates 06 crf250 and found his bike pretty much clided over the bumps and woops etc. I jumped straight back on my bike and found I could feel all the bumps and a bit harder to ride. I know my bike is a endure bike and his is a mx bike but could I do anything to get it at all like his through adjustment or would I need to re valve the forks and shock cheers for any info

IMO no amount of money will get the 45mm Zokes to work like a 47mm Showa TC. Heck, jump on the pumpkin talk and people are bolting complete front ends on to replace their WP 4CS.
With a respring and revalve you will be able to get the 45mms working better than they are, but to get the broad range of performance offered by a CC fork you're best bet would be trying to get a complete Yamaha front with with the KYB SSS forks. Look the thread up. |
