The WER damper are the cheap ones GPR and Scotts run $500 and up.

If you are going to pay retail get a Scotts or better yet just buy the Scotts. Keep an eye on ebay you can get a good deal on one. And yes the ones for the street bikes are different.

The scotts are better than the WER,, and you can get a scotts in the $400 range, GPR is as good to most, I have a GPR on my sxc and i would rather have a scotts.. but got it at too good a price.. The motosportz one has good reviews also.. and the new ohlins(old style ohlins is sold as a scotts) is really good but $6-700 or higher?

If you're willing to drill out those rivets, I'll take it.
