marzocchi 50mm shivers help
Have bought some 50mm shivers secondhand, and have installed them on my bike and while they are a huge improvement over my last forks (wp43mm) in their present setup i would like to play a little to finetune them to me, but am at a loss as to what screws and knobs do what, i understand from the little i have managed to find out that they have a huge range of adjustmant but i dont want to go diving in and adjusting stuff until i understand what does what.
i have a large screw in the top within a red nut whch rotates i have a philips screw on the red nut which i believe is the air release, and i have a small screw on the forktops themselves, as well as the screw on the bottom of the forks. None of my mates are any help as they just guess as to what does what and i have conflicting opnions! not a very good pic.. Can anyone shed anylight? or direct me to a manual?

The small outer flat head screw is the bleeder for the forks.
The phillips screw is the bleeder for the closed cartridge chamber. The red hex head part is the closed chamber oil fill. The center flat head is the compression adjuster. Rebound is on the fork bottom. http://www.marzocchi.co.uk/documents...hiver50USD.pdf |
