Turns out that mine is an Acewell not a Trailtech, and it doesnt have a battery (and doesnt work real flash either).

Default contrasting feedbacks

As always on forums i found contrasting opinions about the quality of trailteck products.
what is your opinion after one yer or so ?
is it waterproof ? i live in the wettest place in the world before Atlantis. --> Ireland.
please let us know.

It's not waterproof, but can take some wet conditions. I've ridden in heavy rain a few times with no issues.

They can stand up to some abuse, I have jet washed my bike with my Vapor attached, no problems there not bad for the price.

Has anyone ever worked out were tontap in for the power with out it interfering with the rev counter
