Default Q about Trailtech Vapour Bike Computer

G'day guys,

I've been looking for a Trail Tech Vapour Computer for my '03 GasGas EC200. I found this one on Ebay, but it says it only fits '05 - '08 GasGas 250/300/450/515.

My question is, did anything change to make this unit not fit my bike? Its cheaper on Ebay than it is at a bike shop so if this one is good, i'll buy it.

Thanks,

Ben

Edit; Dad and I can make up mounts for the actual unit it self, its just whether the bits that get all the readings will fit like the speedo, tacho etc.

There is no GasGas specific model. I have the Vector, but they all use the same cable. The Vector I have is the OEM KTM model (gives you the cable that screws into the front brake carrier.)

Make sure you have the threaded hole in the brake carrier and check to see what kind of cable the Vapor has.

See the Trail Tech site for info.

WOW. I stand corrected. Trail Tech now lists the GasGas. Good for them because they didn't before.

Yes, that will fit your bike. The difference between the 75-101 and 75-102 seems to be the temp sensor. I have a -101 model and the temp sensor was designed to go in a threaded holw in the radiator and the -102 model has in-line hose insert.

Default reset the trip distance?

Is there no easier way to zero the trip distance on the OEM trailtech computer. I find it strange that a digital unit needs to be zeroed by counting down the mileage with the down arrow, surely there is a simple way of zeroing?

If i use the reset button will i then need to re-enter the wheel diameter etc?

Try holding MODE+DOWN ARROW for a few seconds.

Bearman I would like it very much if you were to post a few pics and a write up after you install this on your bike. I have been interested in installing one of those on my bike but the year listing has always made me wonder if it would work.

So does the OEM vapor for a 2007 ec300 kick have a replaceable internal battery?
The back of my unit looks different to the one on TrailTech site - no obvious battery compartment for starters.
