Default New 2015 Beta 300 X Trainer

Its hard for me to tell what is different about this Beta besides maybe a lower seat height and an oil injection system.

Check out the pipe, also it has been down graded on the suspension. Pretty neat bike though. I wonder what the price is going to be on it? GasGas needs to come out with a similar version with the 200 e-start motor in it and trials type tires on it. If they could do this and keep the price around the CRF230 and the TTR230 price range I think a guy could move them.

I wondered when we would see a thread about this bike here.

Looks great to me, interesting if were in the $5k range.

I agree whole heartedly, a GasGas version of this bike would be great. That is what interests me in the AJP bikes. A very capable off roader, easy to ride for recreational riders, and less expensive.

And they still look great.

ANYTHING GasGas, that still LOOKED like a GasGas, in that price range? Ya, I'd buy three!

Nice looking bike! I'd still prefer premix over the electronic oil injection. They don't need to dumb up people any more than they already are.

Its amazing how many people get hung up on the whole premix deal though. I think the average person buying this type of bike would rather have the oil injection. I know myself I would rather have premix on my dirt bike but heck for this type of bike I think the oil injection would be kind of nice.

For myself, I like oil injection on my sled when putting on miles for a full day ride 200-300 miles (not carrying containers for oil and measuring). I've never wished my GG had injection though.

The whole purpose of the bike is to provide a solid entry-level enduro/trail bike for less experienced/smaller statured/"not interested in a race bike" riders. The CrossTrainer has a full-featured 300 with a little pipe to knock off the muscle in the midrange that makes experienced riders grin and that scares the crap out of less experienced pilots.

The frame is new, lowering seat height another inch or so beyond standard Beta height, the plastic is new, and oil injection, like the standard estart (optional kickstart) is a creature comfort. Suspension is by RISV. Weight is projected to be 30 pounds lighter than a CRF230.

As long as there is an optional kickstart. I reckon electric start only is a big mistake.
