2012 EC 300, Standard jetting/ N1EG needle?
Hi all from here in the uk, just flicking through the manual and some paperwork i got with the bike and have seen that my bike has been "tuned" but all thats changed is the needle which is a N1EG? Is this any good? Has this needle made the fuel mixture richer? I also see in the manual there is some carb settings for Competition use, are these any good? anyone tried them? I don't really like the bike running too lean so any help would be good! Also the idle "hangs" when you rev it at idle? The throttle cable is fine and no air leaks that i can find!

Needle is no good. Slide is probably raised too high (spring coil bound). Check the pilot and main too, and then start searching. Loads of threads. Search keywords such as NEDJ NEDW NECJ N3CJ N3EW. Should give you a days reading.
