when you do get the old plug out shoot me an email , i make steel drain and fill plugs i get $20.00a set and that problem will never happen again

I've already ordered all the gaskets I need to split the cases, as I'm really not counting on any "tricks" to work.

I'll try a few things before splitting the cases. I'll also be buying some left hand twist bits in the near future.

Did the same thing as above and luckily managed to get the bolt close to the hole, got another magnet and played around with a pair of needle nose pliers to try to get the thread lined up..... did so and then used the magnet to unwind the broken bit out.
Lucky for me it worked.
Now if I could just find the correct pitch and size of the bolt I will do a ring around tomorrow for a new one..
