Default cdi chart?

anyone have a chart or a basic idea of which cdi boxes advance when?

i would assume the mc cdi's have the most aggressive advance curve? or the 125's or the 200's?? i would assume the ec300's have the tamest cdi?

or which cdi's are the most aggressive, and which are the least?

problem is that GG used CDI's from different bikes (200, 250, 300) to change the characteristic of the different models (EC, XC, DE, MC, etc) of the 200, 250, and 300. At one time there was different color heat shrink used on the wiring where it entered the CDI unit and that was a clue. But I don't know what color was for which unit.
My '00 XC250 has an aggressive CDI and at one time I think I determined it was the same as used on the MC's.
My kids EC is very different. Much smoother.

what i'm trying to figure out is this - i have a de or xc 200 (2000) not even sure if it's de or xc - and i was hoping to find a bit more aggressive curve, i basically wanted to get a baseline to see which cdi i had...

My XC is referenced on the serial number stamped on the steering head. And my kids bike is an EC and that is what is stamped on his so you should be able to tell by looking at the serial number. On the 250's back then I think they used 2K2 ignitions on the XC's and 2K3 on the EC's but I'm unsure of the 200's.
The 2K2 wiring exited the flywheel cover at 10 o'clock, the 2K3 at 2 o'clock.
