Default 2012 rebound clicker.....

so i had some oil i found on the wheel after last ride sitting on the stand.... removed fork to have the seal changed and found when i removed the fork cap, that the brass screw wasnt threaded into the damper rod... guess thats what it is called...

so i removed the cap and looked at the threads of the brass screw..... they were destroyed... now its a pain to even locate the replacement screw.

thinking i need PN# BE201402509

is this correct and anyone have one they would sell? should be #18

I just found that part on the internet with google. Is it this part?
http://www.ktm-parts.com/AOMC/product/BE201402509

And did you try searching this forum for that part number?

Remember that this forum take a little bit of time to get warmed up, but once the rest of the globe wakes up you might get some help.

yeah i read that thread also, and was thinking about doing the 3D print as a buddy has one... but just wanted a replacement..

interested in the KTm replacement part also and i do have a local KTM dealer here where im at. so i should jsut give them this replacement part number correct?

i also just bought a Bend fork from canada, 38.00 for the entire fork. lol so i was thinking i could just scrap down what i needed for replacement off that if i cant find a replacement for now. ill check ktm and see what they say in the mean time.

Its not a KTM part. Its a Gasgas part from a KTM and Gasgas dealer.

well got it fixed for the time being..... ran an M8x1 Die on it, and cleaned the threads. Also ran the tap to make sure all the brass was out of the damper rod.

should hold up for now, and ill be watching ebay for old fork caps and adjusters as this part could be very hard to find. nothing back from KTM or Gas Gas about a replacement also.

Part number isn't the problem. Finding someone who has one in stock and ready to ship is the issue!

I agree that its a problem that no one got the part in stock.. But the partnumber is also a problem. there are two different kind of sachsforks that GG use so the rebound adjusters dont look the same.
The company i talked to said that they had tried twice to order the whole set with top Cap and adjuster (from the part manual) and got the wrong one both times.

I called the agency that contacted the GG factory and got this partnumber BE201602509 ( just the adjuster as in the picture i posted before). It took me 2 1/2 weeks to get it and it cost me 150 SEK ( its like 15 $ )
