Because I am a mechanic and I know what happens when people try to save money on pistons. They spend it on re-plating cylinders and fishing bits of broken pistons out of bottom ends! 😂

I heard it's cause you valve bounce it on every gear change!!

60 hours is pretty short intervals though.

Do you have a photo of the piston after 60 hours?

I unwrapped some goodies(sadly from a dealer that I won't deal with again) for my '19

Hopefully fit one of the parts and get out next weekend for a virginal ride on this turder

No valves in my bike to bounce matey! I do like to commit to obstacles though!

Wow, you have a lot more blow-by than my XC250 did after 90 hours on the piston. I had minimal between the rings and nothing below the bottom ring.

I am going to shorten my intervals to around 75 hours as the piston skirt was more worn than I would like.
