Dug up this old question because I was wondering the same thing. Does anybody know for SURE is the DRZ camchain the same as in 400FSE? Or any other Jap-bike chain? The original part costs 140eur and Jap-bikes chains are about 40-70eur

I ordered a cam chain for my 06 450 FSE from a gas gas dealer and it arrived in Suzuki packaging and it fit fine.

Okay. You wouldn't have suzuki part number? And just for curiosity: How much did you pay for it?

Sorry I don't have the partnumber, but you could ring scotties dirt bike spares. They are very helpful and I'm sure they would tell you. The price was about 90 Aussie dollars.
