OCCRA Make Promises Happen Charity Race - May 4-5 - Guthrie, OK

Hey all. I just wanted to pass along that next weekend (May 4-5) is Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association's annual charity race that benefits the Make Promises Happen program. This program provides activities and social times for special needs individuals. The program provides camping trips, ski trips and other activities that many of these individuals wouldn't otherwise get to participate in. So, the money goes to a great cause and you get to have fun while doing it. Campers and spectators are welcome, so feel free to come out for the entire weekend and please spread the word to anyone you know with a dirt toy! We also have practice time, so if you want to try out the track before you sign up, then just show up during the practice times on the flyer ($5 gate fee applies).

Regular OCCRA points events:
*Regular or weekend membership required to race*
Long course bike races
Long course quad races
Mini bike races
Mini quad races
In these races we have classes for all ages and skill levels.

Special events to raise extra money for MPH:
*Membership not required to participate in special events*
Bike/Quad team race
Mini bike team race (65cc/50cc only)
Side by Side (UTV) Race
Vintage motorcycle race (Two classes: 1979 and earlier, 1980-1995)
Wheelie contest

Like I said before, all proceeds from this event go to Make Promises Happen, INCLUDING the net proceeds from the regular OCCRA points races. We are also offering a weekend membership for those that would like to participate in the OCCRA races but will not be racing the entire season. Its not too late to race for points, though, so you could also sign up for an annual membership!
