Default Does the YZ 250 2T kickstart lever fit on a 2014 GasGas XC300R?

Anyone know if I can make this swap on my '14?

Thanks!

Out of curiosity did your kickstarter break or is there another reason you are replacing it?

Thanks,
Chuck

Hey Chuck,

My bendix lost some teeth on my '14 XC300R so I have been having to kickstart the bike. The kick start lever on this model does not angle out perpendicular to the bike - it opens a good bit wider. So at the bottom of the kick stroke, your boot tends to slide off. This is really hard on boots. I have essentially ruined a pair of Forma Predators.

In addition, due to the angle of the kick start lever, it hits the footpeg earlier and so your kick stroke is somewhat limited.

It's such a god awful design it is really almost unbelievable.

I bought a YZ kick start lever off of ebay for $41 and I put it on a couple of days ago. What a difference! This is a fantastic upgrade - highly recommended.

Thanks, makes perfect sense from a functionality standpoint. Any specific year YZ?
