450FSR 2008 Valves and ignition

Hey ppl!

I'm having trubble finding the right valve adjustment setup. How to place the exhaust and intake camshafts.

Also another issue were the bike runs smooth while idle. But as soon as you turn the throttle abit it wants to die any idea what it could be?

Hi, do you have a copy of the workshop manual? I googled it and found one. Follow the pics and ensure you get the arrows on the cams pointing to the correct pin (left pin on the link for the exhaust cam on my 04 engine from memory and then count the 15 pins back to the inlet arrow) this sets the cam to crank relationship.

If you get this wrong (like I did initially) it will run but is terrible to start and won't pickup properly, it also kept cutting out on idle.
