Another Reed Question
With all the reed questions coming out I would like to add one.
I have a 06 EC/DE 250 and it has the boyesen RAD reed valves in it. Everything I have read says it should have V Force reeds. What are the main differences between the two? Does one hit harder, make more low end ect? Thanks.

What you have makes better low end. you can put carbon fiber reeds
from Motowest or Boyesen's carbon fiber reeds, (a little stiffer than the fiberglass) and bias the power for top end. No need to get the V -Force III until you try this. Definitely try some jetting changes, also. See the huge jetting database. |
