reed valves for VF3

The same V2M05 is used on the Husky CR/WR 250 OEM. The new Huskys may have gone to the VF3 but there should be plenty of VF2s around in parts stock or possibly available for trade.

We recently modified my brothers Husky WR250 with VF2 reeds in low tension position, RBD head mods, and a Keihin PWK 38AS to replace the Mikuini. Bike runs real strong, much more off the bottom.

i have a 2002 EC250 and have the boyesen reed block i have just bought some boyesen pro series dual stage reeds to put in there. standard were the power reeds. i am looking for mid/top end pull, was this the best option ? is there anything else i should have instead to give me mid/top end pull. thanks

Yes- Like Kent said, look on ebay for a CR250 1990-2001 ?? V-Force II

Also was available for the Honda Quad 250 I think its a TRX 250,
(but you have to file off a bit of the side of it from the Quad one. I did. Fits perfectly.) Did not notice huge gains on the 300......

Does anyone know where you can still get replacement reed petals for the Vforce 2 reed cage?

You need to set the reed tension at low on the VF2 to enjoy its full benefits. Even the slightest adjustment away from the low tension setting will make the VF2 perform similar to the VF3.

Is tension adjustment a matter of moving the bar on the outside of the reed cage? (i.e. moving the bar farther from the reed tips creates lower tension)
