Default Shelton Fun Run

Any Gas Gas friends going out this weekend for a little bit of non competitive fun.
Well should I say, I do like to Poker Race a bit, I get out early and usually do 2 loops for some training one of the days or both depends on who shows up. Great area to ride with very few legal opportunities available.

Planning to go out and camp with the wife and many in my club. Let me know if you might make it out and we can hook up for a ride. No matter your ability I'd be glad to meet ya and go for a ride.

Roscoe

Reverup. I'd like to make a trip over your way later this year as i miss good woods riding. I lived in Oregon for some time but have not riden the wet woods for 14 years and am due. Would you be up to a little tour guide duty if i can make it over ??? I'd bring my son Tyler along, he rides an ec250 as well.

Curtis, I'd be glad to!
Just let me know when you and Tyler are thinking about coming out this way and I will let you know what my schedule is looking like and we can try to find a compromising date.

I really enjoy showing new friends awesome wet side singletrack.

Roscoe. Great i'll keep in touch. It'll likely be after the summer but we'll hook up and have a good ride.

Cool Guys! Looks like I will now only be able to get out there to ride on Sunday.

We will be arriving mid day on Saturday in the Gas Gas sport for our club pot luck and the NMA meeting. Camping out, then riding on Sunday. I believe we will be camped right as you come through the gate same as last year. But look for my motor home with the Gas Gas decal on the front if we aren't there or the club changed things around, if you want to B. S. on Saturday. Or find me early on Sunday morning before the first riders goes out and we can go for a ride.
I'll keep an eye out for you guys either way.

Roscoe

Great seeing you out there John (HydroDog) How was your ride with your step son?

I saw a couple other Gas Gas machines out there besides ours but never got the chance to talk with them.
Conditions were pretty good a bit of dust especially on the roads but other wise not to bad. We got in 3 loops across the highway with a grand total of 66 miles with help from a Gatorade bottle of fuel stowed in my camelbak.
My buddy Tim got a flat tire that we changed out in the field.
It was a good day, lots of whoops and natural terrain jumps to test and adjust my new LTR re valve and springs.

See ya soon,
Roscoe

We had a great ride and the step son enjoyed riding with other people on the trail and watching theskydivers at the airport. We bailed on doing the extra 12mi. loop in fear of not having enough fuel in his CR 250.
Now if I could get him to ride the enduro in June.
