Question Tubliss with dinged rim

Well, out jammin' today in the woods really diggin' my new front Tubliss and M59 tire. Approching this small but steep hill, gassing it and wham, the front wheel kicked up a big square edge rock that jacked up the rear and almost sent me over the bars. Nice ding in the rim, at least 1/4" off the bead of the tire. I had planned to go Tubliss on this rear wheel as well, but not sure if it will work now. Anyone mount one on a dinged rim? I'm going to try and knock it out but it never comes out clean. I miss my old shoulderless Dirt Stars.

Should be no problem, the new trick now is to add a little slime, that should help.
Also, the hoop helps seal the tire's air chamber between the tire and the hoop not only the tire and the rim.

I got it fixed up pretty good today. Really hard to tell unless you look close or run your hand over the rim. Should be fine.

Also, when I did my front Tubliss I had a lot of trouble with a slow leak, and after four tries I was frustrated and going to cheat by going the slime route but there had to be a reason for the leak. Looking closely with a magnifier I found some mold flashing in the seal area of the liner over a two inch length. Tweezers and a razor blade removed this and no more leak.
