Default JD Jetting Kit - anyone tried it?

Hi all

Just seen this JD Jetting Kit for sale on eBay.

It promises so much, sounds good, almost too good to be true?

Has anyone tried this kit? Would love to hear any feedback.

I have it, I should have just saved my money. The jets are just ?meh.? You?re better off just going by the jetting in the manual, those will get you close enough.

OK, thanks for that.

I guess the only thing you're paying for is the two 'special' needles, but not much use if the 'special' needles don't suit your bike. The other bits are just standard Keihin jets.

All the best, Dave.

Nothing wrong with the JD kit, but you can do the same thing cheaper by buying your own parts. If it was $20 on fleabay, it would be worth the cost.

Hi Neil

OK, so the main jet and pilot jet are pretty straight forward but what are the equivalent Keihin needles?

Cheers, Dave.

What are you looking for? Mellow with hard hitting powerband (fun) N3xx or even spread of power (good climber) NExx
