The review on the KTM 300 XC was spot on ! I recently purchased that same bike after waiting several months for a 14 gasser 300 that never showed up( and doesn't look like they will ever) However after (AND DURING)my first ride on my first KTM all i did was grin the whole ride!!!!!! super nimble ,super light, and just plain super!! the only down fall is that i look like every other orange idiot(humorously) at the races!

Congrats on the new bike. But waiting for GasGas motor and stability would have definitely been worth the wait!!

I am curious if you reached out directly to Clay on getting a 2014? I see they are available now!

I always have at least two bikes ready to go and I purchase a new one every year since 2006 replacing the oldest one I have,I have had a pair of CRFs ,Huskys, Husabergs etc. I now have a 13 FE350 Berg and the new KTM, Ill wait till mid summer to see if GASGAS gets the new models out and how they compare to last year.
I don't know Clay ,however I am subscribed to the GG site and haven't seen any update since early last year ,a diminishing dealer network and no info on the 14 models. So im gonna wait this one out.

You're doing it wrong. Plenty of info on the 2014's. There is even a thread about the changes to the 2014.

The Can Ams were great bikes but that Qualifier (Q3) was only "big" in engine size. I have a few of those in various engine sizes and they are actually very small in stature (due to a high breather frame that had it's intake behind the headlight). My wife learned how to ride on a 400 Q3 as the bike is short, it has a very nice motor, and all of the Qualifiers came with a throttle that had a "trap door" where you could open it, move the cable to another cam, and have your choice of 1/4 or 1/2 turn. Much easier than a G2! I have a road legal 350 Q3 that I will be riding this year for fun...I can't wait! BTW, I'm an vintage dirt bike "hoarder" so if anyone wants to talk/trade Can Am, send me a PM as I have lots of parts and bikes!
