Default Cylinder and Piston Measurements, EC300

I?m freshening up my 2010 EC300 and got the measurements (attached) using a bore gauge on the cylinder and calipers on the piston. What are some of your opinions on plating vs not plating? There is some ovalization in the bore but is it necessary to replate? Either way I?m getting a new top end kit in there. Thanks!

The surface itself is pretty clean and smooth. Honing would remove material and I dont think thats what it needs. It doesnt have any damage its just high hour bike and the shape is slightly worn front to back. Based on the dimensions is that wear excessive and worthy of adding material back in? Here is a pic of the bore.

If you can't see the hash marks on the cylinder bore, it's time for a replate.
You will need to send the new piston in with the cylinder when the plating is done.

Found my answer right in the manual, go figure. Limit on the cylinder bore is 72.10mm measured 20mm from upper end.

So a hone should bring it round without breaking through.
