Default Power valve rattle

I know a lot has been posted on this subject but despite numerous searches I can't find an answer to my question.

After doing a top end and de-coking / rebuilding my power valve assembly it has started to rattle quite a bit.

Question is, if I leave it to rattle will it cause any damage????

After reading how easy the fix is I decided to have a go.

When I took the PV cover plate on the right hand side I didn't need a feeler gauge to see how big the gap was between the actuating arm and the stop. So after just over an hour and a half I had stripped it down and adjusted out the slop.

It has made a vast difference to the running, the bike is so much more responsive off the throttle and seems to get on the pipe a lot quicker.

Many thanks for the fix.
