You probably wouldn't want to see a pic of my battered old Messico, but I'm considering having a custom made stainless steel pipe, fabricated later in the year.

How come you are custom making one?

I've seen these fresco pipes that look good I just haven't seen any review on it
And then there is the house of horsepower which does have the look

Any off the shelf pipe seems to be to fit the 300 and 250 (if not 200 too), which to my mind will not give an ideal pipe for any motor. My bike's only used on the road, so I'd be happy to swap a bit of mid-range for some extra top end. Also, being a 2001 bike, most pipes made for the newer bikes will need tweeking to fit.

Ah right I see, I just taken mine out for its first ride definatly got some issues that need sorting like gearing and jetting, was sometimes bogging in top gear not wanting to hit the power valve clean, also need to get a smaller sprocket, got a 45 on the rear hopefully a new pipe will make it pull better at the top

But all in all was fun

Stock GG pipe, taken back to bare metal, and "big one" silencer.

Tests at 102.6db (FIM 2m max test)

Strategically placed dent in pipe adds +2 bullshit points.

So, apart from the main frame, is there much diff between the Fantic and Gasser or is it mostly cosmetic? Still a beaut looking bike btw. (Even though you shouldn't be posting pics up here you naughty boy )
