Yeah I have one.....guess it would be a good idea to actually use it before everything blows

My parents had one sitting next to their PC at home when it took a dump. They lost over 10,000 pictures, mostly of my kids. Nearly all were not backed up.

I'll never understand why people don't back everything up. Apple makes it so easy you would be 'tarded not to.

I actually bought the Malwarebytes upgrade for my laptop but put their "freeware" on my desktops. The "freeware" actually seems to take care of most of the problems.

I got the "Microsoft Live" virus that ended up costing me about 8 hours to resolve even thought the "fix" took me only an hour and a half of computer time with me checking in every 20 minutes or so to do the next required step.

If you have a fast connection http://www.carbonite.com/ is a good solution in addition to a local backup.

Ok, I tried the CC Cleaner and it didn't work but got rid of even more junk including stuff in the registry which I took a chance on deleting

Removed the Google Tool Bar program (and some other crap kicking around) and reinstalled it but the problem still persists

ok u offered beer money for the winner (i cant buy beer, but im sure my bike has a few parts that i could get with it) and i have the idea right here. it will for sure get rid of your problem. are you ready for it?
BUY A NEW COMPUTER. dont buy dell, they come with a bunch of extra crap that you dont need and will never use. i would recommend Asus. they are really cheap, but the tech support is fantastic, and if you get say avg free antivirus and keep updating it like you should, it will run forever and give you no problems. and for your own sake do not get vista. vista sucks. get windows 7. my friend has a $700 asus that out preforms my dads $1100 Dell hands down. and you wont have your google problem any more.

1. Clear your cookies.
2. At the command prompt type ipconfig /flushdns
3. Download Spybot and update. (if you can)
4. Download AVG Free (or Avast or Avira) and update. (if you can)
If you can't then try to attach to a free proxy server.
5. Reboot in safe mode.
6. Clear cookies again.
7. run ipconfig /flushdns again.
8. Run Spybot
9. Run AVG Free (or others) in depth.
10. Reboot and chances are you're OK.

Make sure you are physical unplugged from the internet.
You need to get to your "Temporary Internet Files" and delete everything...Yes everything. Get and run Spybot. Also Ad-Aware.

If you still can't get it clear you might just have to take it in and have it removed professionally.
