50mm shivers?
Need to put new seals in my 50mm shivers and not sure how to get them apart i have done the 45mm shivers before how similar the 50's to 45's. Do i need a special tool to get the top caps off the manual is not that helpful
Also i have been advised to put in 5w oil instead of the 7.5w the manual says will it just make them softer? and how much if it does? thanks alot eddy |

50mm zokes
I love the 50mm forks, you should not need anything different than what you needed for the 45s. The 50s are a cartridge fork based on the 50mm showa. If you have trouble Bill from Ccycle has an awsome setup for that fork (860)267-1710. I always ran 5 wt and they were great.

Anyone know what the oil capacity is on each fork (50mm)?
I changed my seals yesterday and added 370cc of oil per the manual. My forks were very stiff while riding today, I was using only 2/3 of the fork travel. |
