Gibby, thanks for the info. I think that I am pretty close with 178/42, may go to a 175 but I tend to like a more mellow hit. I don't know if you saw the original post, apparently I had some crud in the needle, I had a spare from another JD jet kit and it started idling fine! I could really tell the difference in the 178 jet, much more crisp!
