Kickstand Foot

I'm sure most of you have had an incident with your kickstand. The foot is so small it sinks in anything other than concrete. Resulting in a bent or broken kickstand bolt or bent mounting tab. So I saw that Enduro Engineering makes a bolt on foot, but I have a good friend with a 3D printer so I drew one up in Inventor and had him print it.



It's kinda awkward looking but if it saves my bike from falling over its worth it.

I just carved out a bit of 6mm ally plate, bevelled it a bit so it fitted flush & got it zacked in place.

I still laugh at my mates with their stiletto sidestands as they sink into the ground & I point at mine. keeps out of the way too.

I carried the metal lid off a pasta sauce jar in my pocket all last winter!worked a treat but the autoretract would fling it like a Frisbee if you let stand flick up!thanks for the prompt,must get ally foot before ground gets soft again!
