Default Jetting, How does this sound to you?

Been fighting with jetting on this silly thing since I got it and this is where I have ended up.

The bike seems to run great. No spooge and pulls good. The problem is it doesn't want to idle and is a little prone to stall now. The air and idle screws seem a bit unresponsive when trying to adjust. Here is a video with decent sound and a good mix of riding.

hmm, my 250 does the same with the idle and air screws not being very responsive.

Interested to see what the jetting wizards say..

You have so many variables working together here. Needle diameter, slide height (idle screw), slide cutaway, some slides have a notch/window (others don't), float height, pilot jet, and air screw... Then add in varying levels of clutch drag, temp changes, elevation changes, air filters getting caked/dirty.

I guess I'm saying I don't have a simple answer. For me, personally.. I don't particularly set the bike up to idle. I want a bike that starts easily and responds well to throttle. If it'll idle for 30 secs I'm happy. Thats usually enough to keep the bike running if getting a bit sloppy on the clutch.

Also, if its the stock head with the huge squish clearance, it also makes this area even more finicky and hard to get dialled in.

Suggestion based on the video would be to try an NEDJ. Being a bit leaner may help bring the AS into effect and improve the idle. It also may come at the expense of not chugging down under load as well. Its always a balancing act.
