Thumbs up Mitas and Trelleborgs are back

Maybe I'm late to the party, but I just found this today. Mitas and Trellborg tires factory direct in the US. US warehouse, good prices and free ground shipping. I always loved the Trellys and still have one Mitas trials left. Good to see!

ive been running the trelleborg 120 tenmasters for the past 2 years and refuse to run another tire because it is that awesome. almost everyone in our riding group has switched! i keep 2 at a time so i always have a spare! i also have run a mitas c-18 and c-19 but were not overly impressed. the trelleborg tires such as the tenmasters is being marketed under mitas name next year and will be called the mitas sport extreme. this was suppose to be the last year for the tenmasters name, same tire just different name. i also run the t-454 trelle in the winter, best tires going in my opinion

there is a nice chart on this website for the mitas tyres:

You guys in Canada always could get them but we lost the distributor a few years back thats why this is a good thing.

Steve, the Tenmaster works everywhere, like an MT16 just better. Would be perfect for your for PA trails. The Mitas C12 is a sand tire like an S12. Work good in sand but get tore up in rocks like any sand tire. Great price! So, Iwould do:

Sand - C12
Mixed dirt/some rocks - Tenmaster
Extreme rocks - ET-01 radial trials

BTW we are going to the Hammer Run, I'll call you and we can all ride together.

I love my trails tire about 65% of the time, the rest of the time I wish I had a knobby.

For sand- the T-946 super master is the one to use... I ran both this and the ten-masters back in the early 90s....

A 110 width will be fine on your bike - they run a tad larger than others for their sizing.

skid,

Just get a Tenmaster then, its like an MT16, hard to fault it. I'll bet it works real good with a Tubliss. When my MT16 is shot thats what I'll get for my second wheel.

There was T-914 on a random front wheel I ended up with, it was a nice front tire considering the wear on it. I probably will try a Tenmaster for my next rear.
