What are you guys runnin for bar width

Stock bars are about 3" more wide than my current setup. Had often wondered if my bars were too narrow. Before I cut off my new grips and put the new spiders and cut my bars I thought I would ask what everyone else is running for width. I am a single track guy...very little mx work.

I dont bother cutting mine down. I used to and felt the bike was too squirelly with narrow bars.

i cut em down, but just slightly (maybe 1/2" a side?) - i shoot for maybe 30" - 31" total width including bark busters.

My son and I don't cut anything off. We run mostly real tight stuff at home and do midwest enduros which can also have very tight sections.

I prefer to wiggle the handlebars in first gear instead of them wiggling me in in 6th!

I cut the width of the handguards I'm running off either side. Overall width remains the same as stock. Be careful about trimming too much as the clutch and brake lines tend to interfere with the bar if you push them too far inboard.
