Jetting help for my 12 300

I was supposed to have one of my knees done over 15 years ago , was told I'd be off work for 6 months so didn't bother .
Must be hard having two knees done

The first week was. Harder having a new bike in the garage and not being able to ride it!!!

Still going to do some road work and some really gentle lanes tomorrow and see how both I and the bikes goes.

I have just had my carb apart and it is a 38mm with a 6.5 notch slide rather than the number 7 slide. When my needles arrive do you think that the NEDJ or NEDW will be the best bet?

At the moment it is running realy rich wit the standard needle so I have put it on the top clip to lean it off till my needls arrive. Not had time to test it yet but will be out on it on Sunday.

The notch may make the 6.5 feel more like a 7 in reality. Only you will really know what works best after trying each back to back.
