I had a crf250x and hated to dealing with the valves. I hated how high and top heavy it felt. I could never get comfortable with it.

The tank on the GG is very low in the frame. GG turns much better. I've gone into corners a little hot and had no problems. Sometimes I've cut the corner a little too much. LOL. The GG just goes where I want it to go. I'm 5'8" around 155lbs.

Yes, I could touch the ground and the whole bike felt smaller. It seems like there is nothing there.

I could keep up with my buddy that was on a YZ426 on his own trails/dirt roads. He got me on the straights but I wasn't to far behind.

As a rule I will not help anybody make a decision about which bike/car to buy. It's an entirely personel decision that should be rooted in both emotion (loving the looks of a particular bike/car, perhaps enjoying the mistique of a particular brand) and intelect (does it do what I need it to, are spares freely available etc). So sorry mate, you're on your own. I've seen these honest attempts at help bounce back in peoples faces many times.

Qui-gon, I've owned Yamaha's, Suzukis and kawas, Gassers, Monts and Bultacos. In my experience Gasser quality ranks with Kawasakis. But it ain't up with Hondas.
