Hi all, newbie here from the U.K.

I had a ec300, then went over to the Dark (orange) side for a year, and now I've chooped it in for a 08' ec250. Reason being fond memorys of a sweet handeling stroker.

Now, what do I need to know about the current crop of Gassers? anything I should change, remove, adjust or rebuild?

Does the 09' plastics(the white ones) fit an 08' bike? Any thing else on the new bikes worth considering as an upgrade for the older part?
I noticed at TDB show that the chain gaurd had changed?

Anyway, thanks for the help

what was the ktm you were running??
I've been looking at 09 200 xc w's. But picked up an 02 husky 125 for short money. I may hold onto my 06 300 while I try out the 1/4 liter thing

I think the thing you most want to be carefull of is the air filter and how it seals. Gotta get you hand in there and make sure it sealed ALL the way around. If your willing to spend the money get the Twin Air Power Flow kit for the 07-09 models. It includes a new air filter and billet air filter cage with 5 long locating pins for the air filter and the fit is perfect with no slop.

08/09 plastic is the same so no worries there. Choose your color!!
