Riding conditions

My friends rode near Shelton yesterday, this is what they found. "We rode 27 miles before we "had enough fun". Still lots of snow, downed trees and BIG water crossings to deal with. We turned around several times when we could not see the bottom of the water and the water disappeared around the corner out of sight. Downtown Shelton was flooded big-time and detours were the name of the game."

First Snow of epic proportions, now Pineapple express on all that snow. So now were having 30 year floods up here and I'm contemplating trading in the knobbies for an outboard cause it'll be awhile until its worth loading up the bike for any reason other than trading it in on a watercraft. Enjoy those perfect conditions, I'm envious.

I drove out to the Sand Hill gravel pit (Tahuya Riding Area) The ground is 80% bare. I am taking the kids up tomorrow morning and will let everyone know how it went.
