2001 gasgas 250

I really don't know what gas gas gas 250 I have. is it the ex or the xc because it has ec on the rad cover but I bin seing that some of the xc has ec on the rad cover so the bike is like brand new and what the difference between them and what do I have is there a way I can tell if mine is a ec or xc and its a 2001 gas gas 250

There were no XC graphics until '02. Older XCs had inverted WP43 forks, Ohlins Gold Series shock, lightweight 2K-2 ignition (wires exit cases at 10:00). Harness is also limited with none of the Euro street junk. Should have more agressive CDI as well. Nice bike, I liked my '00 XC250 beter than my '03 EC250 that was brought in by GG in standard Euro trim. Pos a pic.

the how do u know if u have a ec model my is a 2001 gas gas it says ec... or is it the xc how do I know

ATTACH]]so all the difference is the ignition and stator is the gearing the same can u change cdi to the newer ecs.... im just wonder I just got this bike im just getting info about it and im goingto be racing hare scarmle with it and it did not come with a light can u put a light on it... is there any engine power or differences with xc and the ec or is mine a hybrid
