I have the Black KTM (which is actually made by Acerbis) one on my 2012 with a slight modification of axle spacer. The KTM spacer is same diameter but is longer in length. So took off about 2.5mm in order to fit.

Has anyone else done this??

It looks exactly like this one.

How did you shorten the spacer?

white..... Sorry for never responding to this. Totally forgot.

I had a fab shop shorten the KTM spacer that replaces the OEM spacer. The spacers are the exact same diameter but the OEM one was just under 5mm longer then the KTM one. The fab shop and I determined that if we took a total of 5mm off KTM spacer is was going to put the disc guard a bit too close to the rotor. So ended up taking around 3mm off the spacer (the end that goes into the hub). Used a micrometer to make sure length was equal all the way around.

Then replaced OEM Spacer with new one and works great.

I am very glad I had this installed prior to riding in Easter WA at the Desert100. Otherwise I would have had sage brush, weeds, grass all stuck in front my front master cylinder.
