Cracked into the spooge cannon! Yum

This job sucks the hairy ones. Spooge is evil. Then cut the silencer down 4.5" so that its less 4 strokeish. Still a big chumba. Needs to be repacked and the inners sorted. I think I'll go with Nathans method unless if someone can give me a good enough reason not to, or a better option.

I didn't need to make any jetting changes though on the '11 I was always rich anyway. When I purchased the '11 it was running a cut down version already. I did a back to back test with a brand new Q stealth and apart from the longer newer one being a tad quieter and spoofing more didn't notice any performance difference between the two. Maybe just maybe the stock Q had a touch more bottom and the shorty revved out quicker. That could also be my imagination though.

Well, I admit I screwed up by measuring and drilling the holes before putting the end cap back into the pipe first. 2 were out of alignment, so out came the saw and I cut another 10mm off - which luckily I had left room to do before getting to the rear bracket. There were a few naughty words thrown around the shed today. Dirty filthy job! I know why I put it off so long, and am glad I won't need to do it again soon.

Came up a treat - even though I forgot the small shiney bits that the stock had at the rear rivets.

Disregard the smears all over the side panel. Horrible stuff!

And she continues to go back together. All I really need to do is put the pipe back on. Part of me wants to just go ride it, the other half says I really should do the forks and steering stem bearings.

The shock still feels quite firm when bouncing on it in the shed. I'm hoping it rides well, otherwise I'll valve it stupid soft and see what happens.

Good job on the pipe. It's motivated me to do mine.

Re-autocrutch! No thanks..

Pipe came up alright. Looking forward to getting her started up and going for a test ride.. or any kind of ride! Teaser spin around the block on a 2015 250R the other day made me just wanna ride mine even more.

So its been a while since the last up, and for good reason. Jake and Mrs Jake went for a drive Saturday morning, and by 11am that day we had a healthy Miss Jake Jnr welcomed into the world. Happy bub, happy little broski, happy and healthy mum, and of course a proud Dad.

All home again Sunday morning, and settled well.. Shed time has been able to resume

Coolant and trans fluids added. Pipe and silenced mounted up. About to slide in the NECW#2 and see if she'll fire up! (When the baby wakes up - so she can have her first taste of 2 stroke!!).
