What's the difference between the CCK and the CCL?

Just bought the CCK for my 250, not tried it yet.

I just put in the CCK and like it. The CCL is slightly more lean than the CCK. The last letter L vs. K is the needle diameter. The CCK will be slightly richer off idle up to 1/4 throttle... assuming all other jetting, temperature, etc. is the same.

Please see the summary list here:
http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3800

My latest jetting is dated 3/22/2009 under the 2007 bikes and works very well for me.

EDIT: I posted the link above to remind folks that I make a complete summary list out of all entries here. I hope the summary list (pdf file) is convenient for folks to review all database entries.

Default LTR Needle comparison

Does anyone know what standard needle the LTR needle is similar to?
I am trying to compare this needle with other standard needles in the JD jetting program referenced elsewhere in this forum. I have just done a head squish mod (now 1.25mm & 170PSI) & raised the base gasket thickness by 1.2 mm to align the top of piston with bottom of transfer ports and the bike feels flat mid to top-end. Currently running 45PJ, LTR #3, 182MJ, #7 slide & 98 RON fuel @ 50:1.

CCk is very similar I do belive. Quite a smooth needle.

The LTR starts out as a DDK needle. I would go to a 180 main, 182 ran too fat in my 250. I also tried a 45 pilot with a #8 slide when the weather is hot and dry and the bike rips. I would also try CCK #2 with 180 MJ and 42 PJ as suggested by Matt.

There were three LTR needles total. The first two were close to C series taper, the last a little richer like a D series.
