Ec300 from Colorado to North Carolina
Hey guys,
I have a 2017 gasgas ec300 with a lectron carb. The bike ran fine from 8k feet up in Colorado and now in NC, it runs terrible. It seems to peak in it's shittiness at riding temperature. I richened the metering rod half a turn and adjusted idle but it still runs really strangely. Motor knocks and I can never get the idle right. I have adjusted the metering rod a half a turn up and down from it's original position and from it's current. I've gone to water for coolant at a 60/40 mix with antifreeze. I'm at Whit's end. What do you guys think? |

Did you rejet it for NC? If not it will be about 15% lean across the board if it was jetted correctly for 8000ft. For the Keihins I run one to two pilot jet sizes leaner and 2 to 3 main jet sizes leaner for 8000t from 400ft in IL.

Since you're running a Lectron your best bet is to contact them direct and ask them.
