What options for hard seat on 05 ec200???

I recently picked up a 05 200ec and after the first ride I found out two things. One is I really like the bike and Two this seat hurts to sit on as its so hard.

Im not sure if its the seat foam or if its the shape of the foam but either way I dont like it at all. So what options do I have???

Reshape, Drill holes in the foam to soften it or ??? Thanks in advance.

I just spent a little time in the garage trying to figure why I dont like this seat. I jumped on our Yamaha's YZ & IT's and then a buddy's WR who has his bike over for repair. After swapping from bike to bike several times I figured it out.

Its not the hardness of the seat. Its the width. All of the other bikes feel more comfortable to sit on because there seats are 2"-2.5" wider at the top of the seat. Now that i no what the problem is I can get some new foam and make a seat to my liking.

Now the bad part. When I unbolted the seat I found the sub frame tweaked by about 2" to the left and the seat base broke in a few spots.

Gofasters used to sell new foam which is better. Also I got an upholsterer to recover with grippy stuff on the sides and plain on the top which helps you grip standing and doesn't give you monkey butt as bad. But yes its thin which helps in every other way except comfort.

Stand up more.
